Meet Our Practitioner
Karen Gear, DDS
Dr. Karen Gear is a board-certified endodontist with 37 years of dental experience — precision with facial nerves, muscles and structure that is exactly what makes energy-based facial treatments both safe and effective.
Before opening her Vineyard Haven practice in 2013, she practiced in New York City and spent seven years as an assistant clinical professor at Harlem Hospital Center, a level-one trauma center. Following September 11th, she served on the World Trade Center Dental Identification Team.
On Martha's Vineyard, she has been a steady advocate for the Island's uninsured and underinsured residents through the Dukes County Health Council.
